Privacy Policy

Last updated: 26 October 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

Bebop Asia (“Bebop”, “we”, “us”) is a digital PR and marketing agency with offices in Singapore and Sydney, Australia. In Singapore we operate as Bebop Asia Pte Ltd (UEN 201354529R), and in Australia as Bebop PR (ABN 32 101 104 212). This policy explains what personal information we collect through bebop.asia and in the course of our business, how we use it, and the choices you have.

We handle personal information in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles, where they apply to us.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, book a call, email us or meet us at an event, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company, job title and anything you tell us about your business or your PR and marketing goals.

Information from our work together. If you become a client or work with us in another capacity, we collect the details we need to run campaigns, send invoices and keep in touch, such as billing details, approvals, and the names and contact details of people at your company.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the website you came from. This is done through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below).

Information from other sources. We may receive business contact details from public sources, professional networks such as LinkedIn, event organisers, and referrals, which we use to get in touch about our services where the law allows.

How we use your information

  • To reply to your enquiry, book calls and provide quotes and proposals.
  • To deliver and manage our services, including invoicing and client support.
  • To send you updates, insights and offers about our services, where you have agreed or where the law allows. You can opt out at any time.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it.
  • To keep our website and business secure, and to meet our legal and accounting obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.

Consent and lawful use

Where the PDPA requires it, we collect, use and disclose your personal data with your consent, or where the law otherwise allows, for example to take steps you ask for before entering a contract or for legitimate business purposes. By submitting a form, booking a call or contacting us, you agree to us handling your information as described in this policy. You can withdraw your consent at any time by contacting us (see “Contact us”).

Cookies and similar technologies

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies, including those set by the services below, to make the site work, remember your interactions, and understand how it is used:

  • HubSpot, which provides our contact form and customer records, and may set a tracking cookie so we can see which pages a visitor viewed before submitting a form.
  • YouTube (Google), which plays the video on our homepage and may set its own cookies when the video loads or plays.
  • Calendly, which handles call bookings when you click through to book.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you do, parts of the site may not work as expected.

Who we share information with

We share personal information only with people who help us run our business and only as needed, including:

  • service providers such as our website host, HubSpot (customer relationship management and forms), Calendly (scheduling), Google Workspace (email and documents) and accounting and payment providers;
  • professional advisers such as accountants, lawyers and insurers;
  • media, event partners or other third parties, but only where you ask us to introduce you or have agreed to it for a campaign; and
  • authorities or other parties where we are required by law, or to protect our rights.

If our business is sold or restructured, your information may be transferred to the new owner on the same terms as this policy.

Sending information overseas

We operate in Singapore and Australia, and some of our service providers store or process data in other countries, including the United States. Where we send personal information outside Singapore or Australia, we take reasonable steps to make sure it is protected to a standard comparable to the PDPA and the Australian Privacy Principles, for example through our providers’ contractual and security commitments.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous. Enquiries that do not lead to work are normally reviewed and deleted after a reasonable period.

How we protect your information

We use reasonable security measures to protect personal information, including access controls and trusted, reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as required by law.

Marketing emails

If we email you about our services, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email or by contacting us. We comply with Singapore’s Do Not Call rules and Australia’s Spam Act 2003 when sending marketing messages.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and how we use it;
  • correct information that is inaccurate or out of date;
  • delete your information, where we no longer need it; and
  • stop using your information for marketing, or withdraw a consent you gave us.

We will respond within a reasonable time and may need to verify your identity first. If you are not satisfied with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to the Personal Data Protection Commission in Singapore (pdpc.gov.sg) or the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
