Bebop Asia (“Bebop”, “we”, “us”) is a digital PR and marketing agency with offices in Singapore and Sydney, Australia. In Singapore we operate as Bebop Asia Pte Ltd (UEN 201354529R), and in Australia as Bebop PR (ABN 32 101 104 212). This policy explains what personal information we collect through bebop.asia and in the course of our business, how we use it, and the choices you have.
We handle personal information in line with Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) and the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles, where they apply to us.
Information you give us. When you fill in our contact form, book a call, email us or meet us at an event, we may collect your name, email address, phone number, company, job title and anything you tell us about your business or your PR and marketing goals.
Information from our work together. If you become a client or work with us in another capacity, we collect the details we need to run campaigns, send invoices and keep in touch, such as billing details, approvals, and the names and contact details of people at your company.
Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we and our service providers may collect technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you view and the website you came from. This is done through cookies and similar technologies (see “Cookies” below).
Information from other sources. We may receive business contact details from public sources, professional networks such as LinkedIn, event organisers, and referrals, which we use to get in touch about our services where the law allows.
We do not sell your personal information.
Where the PDPA requires it, we collect, use and disclose your personal data with your consent, or where the law otherwise allows, for example to take steps you ask for before entering a contract or for legitimate business purposes. By submitting a form, booking a call or contacting us, you agree to us handling your information as described in this policy. We keep personal information only for as long as we need it for the purposes above or to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or make it anonymous. Enquiries that do not lead to work are normally reviewed and deleted after a reasonable period.
We use reasonable security measures to protect personal information, including access controls and trusted, reputable service providers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a data breach that is likely to cause you serious harm, we will notify you and the relevant regulator as required by law.
